Tasting Notes:
On the nose, vanilla, dark cherries, and caramel notes are prominent. There is a perfect balance of caramel and toasted oak on the palate, which blend seamlessly with the underlying flavors of the original blend. The citrus grassy tones and vanilla butterscotch from the original blend are elevated by the barrel’s influence, producing a rich and complex flavor profile. The finish is long and luxurious, with notes of crème brûlée and chocolate that linger on the palate with notes of wood and slightly smoky flavors of the charred oak, which add depth.
